Fishing for Winter Steelhead on the Cowlitz

We will be opening seats for Winter Steelhead, starting this Sunday, Feb. 1st! It will run until April 12th and we will be running both boats. Check our website for each Captain's availability.

Last week, Tacoma Power employees recovered 137 Coho adults, 182 winter-run Steelhead, and two fall Chinook adults over four days of operations at the Cowlitz Salmon Hatchery separator. Now is the time to start booking your trip!

*Endorsements: Starting January 1, 2026, anglers fishing for salmon and steelhead in the Columbia River and its tributaries will need a Columbia River Salmon and Steelhead Endorsement (CRSSE). This endorsement will cost $8.75 for most anglers.
